Spanish term

Punto de difusión

Spanish to English Other Media / Multimedia Magazine publishing
I'm translating a magazine's media kit and the phrase "punto de difusión" came up. It's similar to a "punto de venta" (point of sale) but it's not the same. It refers to places where a magazine can be found and read (but not bought), such as a doctor's office, a restaurant, a dentist¿s office, a lab, etc.

Free dissemination areas "Free dissemination areas/points" -- I think works great... but maybe you are nitpicking ;) .... saludos
Noni Gilbert Riley May 5, 2009:
Inclined to agree with all the idea ... ...of distribution points but I'm worried about the fact that these points are not necessarily always actually distribution points, but points where the magazine will be read / "accessed". Is there any way of including this aspect in the translation? Or am I nitpicking?!
