English translation: working at the employer's house

German term or phrase: auf Stör sein
From a riustic novel:

"Es steht sogar im Sonntagsblatt," sagte Lina am Samstag Abend. Sie war beim Harrer auf Stoer."

Lina is a seamstress who is doing some sewing for the Harrers. Does anyone know the exact translation of this term, though. Or a reference?

According to Wahrig - German dictionary - this is mainly Swiss and Austrian, and is a term meaning "tageweise Arbeit im Haus des Kunden", especially referring to seamstresses, dressmakers etc. Here you might perhaps say she was "sewing at the Harrers'".
