General Prosecutor Explanation: Улсын Ерөнхий Прокурор = General Prosecutor In official translations, "General Prosecutor" is used. I had an opportunity to work closely with the GPO while I was a full-time translator for the Judicial Reform Program Mongolia. In your case, the combination of the words seems to me a very strange, because the GPO doesn't have investigators. There is the Special Investigative Unit under General Prosecutor, but the investigators are not immediate subordinates to GP. The Unit is an independent body dealing with crimes committed by employees of the justice system. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2009-04-02 14:06:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately, it is a very common practice among Mongolian applicants to produce fake documents noticeable by naked eyes. |
