I would put it this way - a unique memorial commemorating the most glorious events of the history... The word pages instead of events in this context is also possible I believe.

... which evokes some great achievement in the nation's history.

Sometimes it works to avoid having to pick an adjective like glorious, valiant, heroic, illustrious. And it can really help to get rid of "pages."

To me, it also sounds better as "an achievement" in the singular, for each station, though you could also make "achievements" plural and omit "some."
