neutral Teresa Reinhardt : Note the header Marketing; this is quite a mouthful (some application for soft money?); I doubt that students can even 'evaluate'; I'd say 'study'

study

I would say study (as Teresa suggested, but didn't post) and I believe study implies the academic part, so I would say:
..., where students in WS07/08 will study and assess ZZZ.

Of course without knowing what ZZZ is exactly, and what line of study these students are in, there is room for improvement.
