convention

French to English Other Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc.
From a text about poverty measures, convention is used here in the sense of "conventional/widely used". However, the term "measure conventions" doesn't seem very popular in English-speaking texts.
Full context:
"En réservant une large place au revenu médian, les conventions de mesure adoptées par la France et l’Europe tendent à associer en partie pauvreté et inégalités"
