OK, "trator" este fara indoiala "tractor", agregatul este un excavator si cred ca ii putem zice linistiti "sursa de tractare". In plus, nu ar fi singura eroare ortografica din text.

Explanation:
Pot doar să bănuiesc că e un text tradus din altă limbă fără prea multă inspiraţie.

Poate că trator = tractor = utilajul la care se articulează piconul (excavator ?).
Stoppage ar fi avarierea acestuia. My guess.
