Je ne crois pas qu'il faille employer un terme au singulier - sauf lorsqu'il s'agit explicitement des Templiers, ou Ordre du Temple datant historiquement de l'époque des Croisades-, et encore moins une majuscule, lorsqu'il est fait référence à la maçonnerie, compte tenu de la diversité des obédiences de cette dernière.

neutral  cchat: I agree that until we know what the original version was, it is difficult to find a good French translation. In the context of the website given above, something almost like conspiracy might be intended (maybe even overtones of "le syndicat du crime").
