Timbre: Aparato constituido por un electroimán y una ballesta de acero, provista ésta con un **martillete, que, al ser atraída, golpea sobre una campana. Este movimiento interrumpe el paso de la corriente, por lo cual la ballesta recupera su posición para iniciar de nuevo el proceso, en una vibración constante mientras el timbre recibe corriente y que produce el sonido característico.
