limoso-argillosa

construction
Limoso -argillosa = loamy(or silty) / clayey?

Here's my suggestion:
"...glaciofluvial deposits consisting mainly of gravel and stones in slightly loamy sand and/or gravelly loamy sand."
Loam= A soil that contains a roughly equal mixture of clay, sand, and silt. (particle sizes)
So basically all you are saying is that the soil is mostly sandy (abbondante matrice sabbiosa), with varying degrees of other soil particle sizes.
You'll find lots of hits for these terms.

the report produced by the Institute of Geology of the University of Parma -"Sedimentation and Deformation in the tertiary Sequences of the Southern Pyrenees" ( quite a mouthful but a reliable source!!)
Here you are talking about "sedimentary fill"
--- fluvial-glacial accumulations can be found, predominantly expressed by pebble and gravel deposits scattered in a rich sandy bed with subordinate amounts of silty-clays and/or silty sand with embedded gravel. ---
Apparently, this is how geologists put it!!
Good luck!!

sORRY THE FIRST TERM SHOULD READ \"FLUVIO-GLACIAL\" AND NOT FLUVIAL.
