I have a long term project for a cooperative of fruit growers. This is for an in-store leaflet distributed to specialty shops carrying their products throughout the world.

This term can mean a variety of things. I am assuming this is a creative use of the word to bring up images of shopping for antiques as well as cloud-filled skies over the sea. But I would like to know what you think they are saying here.

"...on imagine quelques mariages gourmands en choisissant un très bon vinaigre, un pesto, une huile d’olive à la mandarine, des galettes salées et sucrées ou encore quelques objets de la table dessinés par XXXXX ou ***chinés*** au hasard des voyages en Méditerranée."

chiné often means bargain-hunted, but I don't think you need to state that here. 'Stumbled across' conjures up trips to romantic overseas markets...
