: I think it's inmportant to include 'French' and 'statutory' if the English is being written for 'foreign' consumption, but I prefer David's use of percentages

Le champ des majorations est plus large que celui de la prime. La majoration prévue en faveur des couples monoactifs est, en effet, versée jusqu'à 2,13 SMIC. Elle est intégralement versée, à raison de 500 francs (76,22 euros), jusqu'à 2 SMIC, et fait ensuite l'objet d'une réduction « en biseau » suivant un taux de 5,5%
