Flamboyant/overdressed/ostentatious and even frou-frou, on one hand, along with showy/flash, on the other all seem to somehow refer to perua. So you can have a woman asking her friend whether she's overdressed for an occasion. Or a showy woman being frowned on in public. Or a frou-frou lady being mocked in a restaurant, as she pulls out her cell phone which matches her shoes pattern, or something."
