general passport register Allgemeines Pass-Register Explanation: There is no real euqivalent. In Germany passport & ID matters are "managed" by the local police office (in the past, before reunion) there was a subordinate office called "Meldestelle" that was in charge of the mentioned documents. Today it is the police station located close to the person's address. I would recommend - depending on source - to add an explanatory footnote. |
