I am Erwin
Höhne, a certified technical English to German translator with more than 18
years of experience in this industry and a solid commercial background. As a
native German speaker with a passion for translating technical and marketing
texts, I now combine my professional experience and linguistic skills to
provide culturally-adapted translations for German-speaking markets.

Before setting
up my own translation business, I coordinated the centralisation of production
facilities in The Americas for Wella Hair Cosmetics. In my earlier career with
Wella I worked as an export-marketing manager for Central America. Those
experiences honed my technical, business and marketing skills, enhancing my
translations with accurate terminology and culturally-appropriate texts.

Document translation,
editing and proofreading, specializing in the fields of production, logistics,
marketing and engineering. I work with Translation Memory Systems (TMS) that
allow me to maintain in a nutshell your translated content and leverage when
needed.

At the same time,
I improve quality and consistency of the content as well. 


My prices for document translation are based on the source word depending on the complexity of the subject matter, number of
words and volume of work. The best way to obtain a fair price is to submit a
copy of the text for translation or a few sample pages.
