XX is a liquid fibrin sealant containing fibrinogen and thrombin. This combination mimics the final phase of the physiological blood coagulation cascade. The Factor XIII, which is also part of the final phase of the physiological blood coagulation cascade, ensures rapid formation of a stable fibrin clot to bring about haemostasis, tissue adhesion, sealing and suture support in a wide variety of medical procedures.
The flexibility of XX means that it has wide application in surgery and its use is supported by a number of clinical studies. Its low viscosity means that it has particular value in endoscopic procedures and minimal invasive surgery, allowing precise control of haemostasis.
XX P rapidly provides haemostasis, reduces blood loss and can reduce post-operative complications to, for example, reduce the length of time the patient needs to stay in hospital.

I have lived in the UK, where I did my degree in Linguistics and Italian Studies. Afterwards, I worked in export and international customer services.
I also have lived in Italy to study language and culture. I spent 1 semester at Turin University as exchange student. After this, back in Germany, I worked in-house as a medical translator and, in 2005, I started to work freelance.
