Si la "rallonge" désigne une extension d'un fil ou d'un cable.
En plus, je ne suis pas sûr de l'ortographe et ne le trouve pas dans mon dictionaire mais c'est un mot que j'ai déja entendu.

Es lo que se emplea en España para todo lo que en Francia es "rallonge"(cañería, cables, antenas,mangueras)y aunque esto sea un eje, si fuera telescópico dría "sortir", no "monter".
