Dear colleagues,
i am afraid when i try to open this *ttx file i have been sent, the Tageditor throws an unknown exception #40005 and the file cannot be opened. Do you have an idea why this could be happening?
Thanks!
Maria

Dear all,
thank you for your opinions, i suspect Hans is right, i think the Antivirus detects automatically ttx files and modifies them as they are detected as potential virus.
I have downloaded the file from an FTP and it was ok.
The hint about zipping the file before sending it over is very useful, i am gonna do this when i send it back!
Best and have a sunny, relaxed summer monday!
Maria

Zipping
Aug 23, 2004
Hello, the problem is that ttx files are unicode xml files. If you send them unzipped they will handled as plain text from the Mail servers and then it can occure, that will be interpreted from Mailservers or Mail Clients and sometimes modified.
Often the < and > chars are converted to entities "lt" or "gt"
Regards
Hans
