Insert key has a mind of its own in Studio 2011

I'm experiencing an annoying issue with the insert key constantly engaging itself while reviewing and correcting segments in Studio 2011. I am definitely not inadvertently hitting the insert key. I do of course hit it to disengage it. The it reengages a few segments later on.
Any ideas to remedy this issue would be greatly appreciated.

It happens after I use the key combination Oct 20, 2011

Ctrl+C immediately followed by Ctrl+F immediately followed by Ctrl+V, which is a combination I often use for copying and pasting a word in the search box during review. Hope the extra info helps in coming up with a solution

to try that key combination in their Trados 2011 to see if it engages the insert key
