Some questions about auto-propagation feature of WFP

Hi experts,

Auto-propagation is a great feature of Wordfast and it is especially helpful in
maintaining consistency while proofreading or translating a document with
repetitions.

I'd be grateful if you could answer these questions:

1. I have activated the global auto-propagation but the text is not
auto-propagated which I have translated/proofread in a different txml file.
Does it mean, the Wordfast will auto-propagate the text whic... See more
Hi experts,

Auto-propagation is a great feature of Wordfast and it is especially helpful in
maintaining consistency while proofreading or translating a document with
repetitions.

I'd be grateful if you could answer these questions:

1. I have activated the global auto-propagation but the text is not
auto-propagated which I have translated/proofread in a different txml file.
Does it mean, the Wordfast will auto-propagate the text which has been
proofread/translated in the current file only?

2. Should I make a new TM for every project to enjoy this feature or will it
work with the big earlier TM also?

3. Suppose if I change the translation of a sentence in the current file, will
it also automatically change the translation of the same sentence in TM which I
translated an year ago?

4. What is the purpose of "Commit to TM" button. Is it obligatory to press it
after finishing the translation of a file and otherwise will the translation not
go to TM?

5. A same phrase or sentence requires different translation in a different
context but auto-propagation allows only one translation for the same segment?
Is there any method to keep different translations in TM to use as per situation
and context?

6. Whether size of the TM affects this feature. I mean does this work until
limited number of segments only?

7. What is the purpose and function of partial propagation?
