How to zoom in on text to see it bigger? SDL 2009 Thread poster: Jan Schauseil
|
I'm probably missing something very easy here, but I cannot find the command to see the text bigger in the editor window. I use SDL Trados Studio 2009. I do not mean increasing the font size, just seeing the source and target text bigger so it's easier to see.

There's no zoom as such. You need to go to Tools>Options>Editor>Font Adaptation and adjust the font size as you like. It only affects the display, not the actual font size of the target file.
You can also use full-screen mode by pressing F11.

DEar Emma, thank you very much, it worked for me as well. Font adaptation is a great feature, otherwise it is not healthy for eyes)). At least I think so.
It also worked for me! | Aug 9, 2012 |
Holy God! You saved my eyes I knew I was also "only missing something very easy" but took me some weeks to check it... Thanks! Virginia

I recently upgraded to Studio 2011 from 2007, and really struggled with the tiny font size, but this sorted it out right away! Thank you SO much, Emma!

This seems to be such a common question that I've just published a blog post about it, called Zoom, font and display issues in SDL Trados Studio 2011. I hope it'll help others who arrive at this thread in the future, Emma
