Dunder och Drakar

Swedish to English Art/Literary Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino
This was used as an unofficial translation of the English-language role-playing game "Dungeons and Dragons". I want to know how the Swedish name literally translates back to English as.

Literally : Thunder and Dragons

I guess you're talking about this unofficial translation :

"dunder" can be 2 things :
- åska = Thunder or thunderstorm
- gevär = gun
I guess they used that word to keep the amous D&D acronym in swedish
Drakar is definitely Dragons

thank you EKM
agree George Hopkins : Although 'dunder' kan also mean rumble, peal, boom, and possibly crashing. 'Drake' is also kite, dragon ship or Viking ship. Translating is not as easy as flying a kite!

thanks george
agree Soren Petersen : Just as an aside, the official Swedish adaptation of D&D was called "Drakar och Demoner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drakar_och_Demoner)
