Spanish term

Salir el tiro por la culata

Spanish to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings Argentinian context

Discussion

Altogringo Apr 7, 2011:
Gotcha. I like after being backfired. Good coining.
Lourdes Sanchez Apr 7, 2011:
HI Altogringo,

I think watch out is a warning while Uh-oh would be used after being backfired
Altogringo Apr 7, 2011:
Ojo speculation Fully agree with Eileen and the others re ojo, but this just occurred to me. Couldn't you use "Uh-oh" for it in some texts/contexts? More humorous, whimsical ones, perhaps, than this one.
Eileen Brophy Apr 7, 2011:
"Ojo" means be careful or "watch out."
