Стандартный раствор вольфрама
Раствор ... готовят следующим образом:
Навеску 0,100 г металлического вольфрама помещают в стеклоуглеродную чашку.
Приливают 10 см3 азотной кислоты и 3 см3 фтористоводородной кислоты.
После разложения вольфрама отгоняют фтористоводородную кислоту, упаривая раствор досуха.

Возникло сомнение насчет варианта для "отгоняют".

neutral  mk_lab: Distilled было если бы фтористоводородная кислота отгонялась (точнее возгонялась) для получения ее самой в чистом виде. А тут отгонка делается для ее удаления из раствора // distill off - это отгонка для получения дистиллята.

  -> Это именно то,что имеется в виду. Нужно удалить эту вредную кислотную примесь ее выпариванием ("отгонкой" на сленге). Пар уходит наружу. А ваше значение "отгонки" - это наоборот - выделение дистиллята кислоты ее испарением с последующей конденсацией пара
