Russian term
in or with a light tapping motion
Russian to English
Other
Cosmetics, Beauty
eye cream
Небольшое количество крема точечно нанести на кожу под глазами и легкими надавливающими движениями распределить на коже.
my translation of the sentence: Apply small dots of cream around the eye area in a light tapping motion. Or should it rather be WITH?
the Internet gives both variants but I need the correct one :) Thanks in advance!

Предложу свои варианты:
1) Apply a pea-sized amount of cream on the skin under the eyes and spread with a light tapping / patting motions.
2) Apply a pea-sized (or “small”) amount of cream on the skin under the eyes and press lightly. (но здесь было бы уместно продолжение фразы типа "for the best results / for optimum moisturizing", чего у Вас нет).

Прошу прощения: конечно, перед "light" артикль не нужен.

: IMHO you would "pat" to apply cream to the skin, not "tap."

Thank you, there are both variants in the Internet.

: I agree. Tapping is also fine. It's a perfectly acceptable verb to use with cosmetic products.
