Not much to go on, but a number of Google hits on anterior/posterior (abdominal) wall... "compromised" is sometimes used in this medical sense, but I would go with "damaged"

rhandler suggests "face", which is more directly related to the vertebra, but "muro" sounds like a strange translation for "face"... maybe your context can help
