Onomatopoeia for walking with small steps
I am stuck on this onomatopoeia that describes a certain manner of walking. In this particular case it is for a goat.
I have tentatively translated it as "click, clock," but this sounds more appropriate for a horse and does not really communicate that the animal is walking with small steps or a slow gait.
Does anyone have a more suitable 擬声語 in English?
