Is there a good descriptive word for "ぶにゅぶにゅ"?

soft and squishy

The word is used in the first episode of the anime Steins;Gate to describe a gel banana, for example. And if you search ぶにゅぶにゅ on Google Images, the results are all things that look soft and squishy.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Masami Striezenau : don't think that is accurate. I mean how would you make the distinction between「ぶにゅぶにゅ」「ぷにゅぷにゅ」「ふにゅふにゅ」. But in context of the video and i presume for subtitles it is probably good enough.

Tender

In this context, I'd go with tender. I thought about @Masami Striezenau's comment on the other answer, and for me ぷにゅぷにゅ would be too bouncy, and ふにゅふにゅ would be too soft and squishy.
