I'm having troubles rendering this expression.
Context is the service manual of an industrial remote control. Spare parts are listed, followed by instruction on how to replace parts.
Posto comando here means the transmitter. Depending on the product, it can either be wired or not (posto comando cablato/non cablato), and it can sometimes be ordered as separate parts (posto comando superiore/posto comando inferiore).
I am tempted to translate it as "control unit" (then adding "wired control unit", "upper/lower control unit"....), but I'm not sure about that (I know "control unit" also means "centralina", but maybe in this case it is clear that this is not the case...)
Any suggestions?
