Not really, I'm searching around, and I notice filettatura is actually a thread. What it could be is a female threaded hole. So I'll keep my suggestion above.

So the filettatura could be fillets (fillet welding), and this could mean to fill-in, to seal or close the gaps or clearances in the fillets. Just an idea.
