Translation of a novel. Context: "J'eus un débat contradictoire et sévère avec Louis Sébastien, le musicien méritoire des 'Ciels près du Ventoux', de 'Paris, de ma semelle' (les pièces pour piano les plus courtes du répertoire)...". Could be something pretty strange, as the protagonist is drawn to eccentric types.

Ventoux is a place name in the provinces so I think it makes sense.

Sorry, it\'s Mount Ventoux near Avignon. I did a translation about it.
Perhaps \"skys over Mt. Ventoux\" might be better.

I remember now the sky is supposed to be particularly beautiful near this mountain but then it was an arts-literary translation.
