French term or phrase: cristal étoilé
This is a description of a watch (part of a watch catalogue). The full sentence is: "Acier poli et cristal étoilé lumière, lunette sertie diamonds taille brillant". I also have "cristal étoilé bleu" and "cristal étoilé perle". So we are talking about some kind of crystal here, but I'm not sure how we would translate the "étoilé" part in English. Help much appeciated!

Sarah, to translate "cristal étoilé lumière" I would use:

Lumière star crystal

(or "gliterring star crystal") but I prefer to keep "lumière"

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks very much Emiliano - this looks right, seems so simple now. I guess I got bogged down by the "lumière" part as well. Any ideas as to how you would add that part for "cristal étoilé lumière"?

Asker: I like it! Thank you so much Emiliano, very helpful indeed.

diamond cut (brilliant cut) crystal

Explanation:
The French description makes me think of a sparkling piece of crystal set in polished steel. Do you have an image of what is being described? That might help.
