Hello, all... This is one of those cases where I grasp the meaning but can't find any corroboration for my solution. Clearly we're not talking about a market for a single stock, but what I think is that it means all dealing(s) in a specific stock. I would say trading but that's all over the document as 'transactions' and 'interventions' and I believe the author's trying to go a bit more general than trading.

Can anyone vote definitely yes or no on 'dealings'?

The text is on the findings of an investigation into insider trading on a few specific stocks.
Example:
"Le 17 janvier 2014, l’enquête a été une nouvelle fois étendue, au marché du titre et à l’information financière des sociétés X et Y, à partir du 1er janvier 2011."

Yes to Francois and SBlack's suggestions on transactions/trading performance/trading. I think your solution of dealings would be a bit less formal, but not wrong. Interventions imo would be wrong.

However, you said you were looking for something "a bit more general" than trading. I know that you are not keen, but I would keep to the original here. The concept of market picks up all buying and selling activity, the physical location or otherwise of the market place, the participants and the underlying legal and technical framework - what could be more general than that?

IMO "marché" here does indeed refer to how well the stocks were trading.

Fr. "transactions" can be left as En. "transactions".

"Dealings" is a much vaguer term, including labour and community relations, for example.
