English to German Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial Latching/Fastening solutions
Product description for a draw latch (Spannverschluss) that is used to connect two panels (e. g. for transport). There are several mounting options like rear mount, side mount, mortise mount and tab mount. No reference for tab mount found. Could this be another word for front mount? Two tab mount options are mentioned:Shallow tab mount and deep tab mount.

Thank you for your suggestions and the discussion "Laschenbefestigung" seems the most appropriate translation to me. But I have proposed "Steckverbindung" as alternative to the client.

@ Anja Wäre schön zu wissen, wie diese Teile aussehen und funktionieren, ob die "panels" damit zusammengesteckt und ob diese durch Klemmen oder Rastung verbunden bleiben und ob und wie sie sich wieder lösen lassen. Außerdem wäre es nützlich, mitzuteilen, wozu die "panels" dienen und wie dieser Ausdruck übersetzt wurde.
