As is also by now iOS 8

Android is the world's most extensively operated platform. The latest version of this OS is Lollipop 5.0 and nearly 75% of the market cup up of smartphones is owned by Android. On the other hand the market cut up of Apple Inc. is 31%. The current version of iOS available in the market is iOS 8.

Nearly 4 years later, given how fast this market is evolving, this text would be pure IT archaeology!

C'est plus que vraisemblable si on considère la citation de Germaine, "nearly 75% of the market cup up of smartphones is owned by Android. On the other hand the market cut up of Apple Inc. is 31%" >> Android détient 75% du marché, Apple doit se contenter de 31%
Ceci dit, mathématiquement, c'est bizarre :)
Germaine Mar 19, 2020:

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android#Smartphones

https://www.idboox.com/smartphone/samsung-depasse-apple-au-p...

Je ne comprends pas...
Francois Boye Mar 19, 2020:
to cut up = to cut into pieces
Germaine Mar 19, 2020:
Context: "...nearly 75% of the market cup up of smartphones is owned by Android. On the other hand the market cut up of Apple Inc. is 31%."

the market cut up of Apple Inc. is 31%
>

agree Daryo : that's the idea - I don't think there is any typo: "cup up" is probably a calque from some local language meanings s.t. along the lines of "how much you grabbed of the market for yourself"

la contraction du marché

Peer comment(s):

See discussion. // C'est exactement mon point! Vs avez noté qu'on parle du iOS? // Exactement mon point (encore!).

4 hrs
what is a cut up?
disagree Daryo : even if looking only at this short "context free" extract, this makes little sense - your "reference" do not prove (not disprove) anything.
