And here's my second question about Adem Demaçi's novels. Nëna Shegë e pesë gocat - please give a word-for-word translation (I don't speak Albanian). Shegë is a name, isn't it? How is it pronounced, as I need to transcribe it in Cyrillic? I found it as Shega, but this word means "joke" in Bulgarian and would lead to confusion (Mother Joke). Can I transcribe it as Shege? And which syllable of the name bears the accent? Thank you in advance.

The accent falls on the firs syllable, and you can read it also as Sheg without the ë, since in many other languages it is difficult to read or pronounce. I don't really think that you shoul translate it, because it is a name as any other name, and we usually do not translate names. The literal translation of it would be "pomegranate", the fruit.
