The Adjustment amount as mentioned in Clause 44.4 is calculated by comparing an half time status condition and the actual status of the Aircraft upon its Redelivery. This adjustment shall be made according to the maintenance events described below.
The applicable adjustment rates set out in the columns “cost basis” have been established in accordance with the economic conditions prevailing in January 2004 and are applicable to any flight hour, cycle or month in 2004.

The following tables provides the cost basis for each item to be considered when calculating the Adjustment.
The Delivery Status columns shall be fulfilled with the relevant number of hours, cycles, or months elapsed since the last overhaul (or since new) of the corresponding element or maintenance task at the time of Redelivery.
Should the Aircraft overall status be better than half time condition, the Adjustment amount would be positive.
Should the Aircraft overall status be worse than half time condition, the Adjustment amount would be negative.
