To do with warranties in an Austrian set of "Einkaufsbedingungen". I need this explained and translated - can anyone help! Thanks.

"7 GEWÄHRLEISTUNG/MÄNGEL
1 In Abänderung bzw. Erweiterung der Gewährleistungsverpflichtungen des Anbieters (AN) gemäß ABGB und HGB [Austrian Civil and Commercial Codes] gelten folgende Vereinbarungen. Sofern in der Bestellung keine anderen Bedingungen gestellt werden, garantiert der AN für die Dauer von zwei Jahren oder 16.000 Betriebsstunden. Diese Frist wird gerechnet 1.) ab mangelfreier (vorläufiger) *Übernahme* bzw. 2.) falls keine *Übernahme* stattfindet nach erfolgreich durchgeführter Inbetriebnahme. Die vorläufige *Übernahme* der erbrachten Lieferungen und Leistungen erfolgt mit der vorläufigen *Übernahme* durch den Endabnehmer (EA). Die endgültige *Übernahme* erfolgt nach Ablauf oben genannter Frist.
Das Bestellschreiben bestimmt, ob eine förmliche *Übernahme* stattfindet. Für die vorläufige *Übernahme* sind vom AN sämtliche Maßnahmen, welche zu einer reibungslosen Abwicklung erforderlich sind, rechtzeitig zu veranlassen und durchzuführen. "
