The crowns are waxed up in the usual way. ***The lock anchor*** is waxed to the crown pattern at a previously determined angle using the paralleling mandrel. The use of an oral transverse load distributor at the abutment crown is not required. Accordingly, enhanced aesthetics can be achieved when designing the crowns.
