Decoration became the myth of value, a mode of making objects or products to appear richer, more luxurious, a bourgeois paradigm. The irony is that it is now cheaper to create something decorated, than something pure and clean. Simply surfacing the product was the fastest and simplest way of giving a consumer choice and tribe-niche (fascias for cell-phones, Fuji-wraps, car wraps, bus ads, 3-d labeling, tattooing, and a plethora of new technological communications).
