English term or phrase: shall be tolled
Context:

The statute of limitations and all arbitration filing fee deadlines shall be tolled while you and XXX engage in this process;

I found this definition online:

To stop the running of a time period, especially a time period set by a statute of limitations.

Does anyone know a more or less accepted term for this in Spanish? Is "aplazar" acceptable?

This is what I have so far:

El plazo de prescripción y todas las fechas tope para pagar los costos de presentación del arbitraje deberán aplazarse mientras usted y XXX participan en este proceso.

to toll (AmE; CanE)
interrumpir

Explanation:
(El plazo > rather than Ley, as in many misguided ProZ Glossary entries < de) la prescripción y todos plazos ...... se interrumpen/ se interrumpirán mientras que ...

PS prescripción can be negativa / liberatoria [with the upshot of losing rights as underlying causes of action or, differently, rights to sue as litigation remedies by statute-barring] or positiva / adquisitiva (such as squatter's rights acquired by adverse possession

Even if, as a trivial criticism, it 'messes up' any prospective glossary entries, tt is important to point out the obvious US-American origin of 'toll' as, otherwise, Transatlantically, esp. in the UK, it could connote payment of tolls or taxes on the stopping of the deadlines.

Example sentence(s):
