Could also be a long hose that is fitted to the vehicle and connected to the water source in the vehicle, but with a longer length for specific targeted more "manual" purposes, as opposed to non-mounted / non-fitted hoses that you connect to municipal or other readily available water sources in the area of the fire, especially when you want to conserve the water in the truck.
