"Per un corretto utilizzo dei pannelli coibentati occorre individuare il sistema di fissaggio più idoneo. ll sistema deve essere scelto in base al tipo di struttura di appoggio ed è fondamentale per garantire sicurezza, stabilità e tenuta. Il sistema di fissaggio è suddiviso generalmente in due categorie: fissaggi strutturali e fissaggi non strutturali. I primi assicurano il pannello di copertura o di parete alla struttura portante del fabbricato e devono garantire la portata dei carichi applicati. I secondi, invece, servono solamente per mantenere la lattoneria di completamento o le lamiere dei pannelli tra di loro. La disposizione ed il numero dei fissaggi strutturali in copertura viene stabilito in base al numero degli appoggi, alla pendenza di falda, alla ventosità, ma comunque non deve essere inferiore a n° 3 ogni mq. In corrispondenza del colmo, della gronda e di eventuali sormonti frontali, i gruppi di fissaggio dovranno essere applicati su tutte le onde del pannello."
