  -> Precisely! And that's why I suggested Asker should do his own research and find the facts that fit his context :)

neutral  Daryo: in actual fact your "explanation" doesn't explain anything - it's like saying "a square is square"

neutral  Adrian MM.: You have conflated an intrusive with an intimate search. I have sued for both in London : intrusive search of a woman suspect's handbag by security guards: trespass to goods and intimate strip search attended by the police: trespass to the person.

Explanation:
Not on the Philippines of the asker's country shown and that has a part Anglo-American, part Spanish-law based system, but a - tough - Bar Exam set in English. In England and Wales, 'intimate searches' by the police are governed by PACE: the UK Police and Crminal Evidence Act 1984.

Example sentence(s):
  • Philippines — An intrusive, warrantless search of a moving vehicle based merely on an anonymous tip is invalid

neutral  Jennifer Levey: "An intrusive search of a moving vehicle." Hmmm... Can you show us a dash-cam video of how that's done?

  -> Please read the first example sentence from the Philippines *carefully* https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2020/08/18/2036239/sc-int... There is also a difference there with intimate search

neutral  Daryo: "intrusive search of a vehicle" is just ONE example, and not really the most representative one.

  -> Intrusive on the Phillipines squares with Anglo-Am law and could include search of a woman suspect's handbag - trespass to goods - vs. an intimate strip search - trespass to the person. I have issued a writ in London combining both heads of claim in tort.
