Diagnosis Does the report propose a diagnosis?

piastrone I haven't got more info. I read that in Italian is a common noun used for this type of issues but I could not find the translation. On Italian Wikipedia for "appendicite" it is mentioned several times

Lump or mass Can you provide any more information?

I see that in cases of appendicitis, there can be what is known as an appendicular lump, located in the right iliac region. However, your report refers to the epigastric region.

"General physical examination including chest did not reveal any significant findings. On palpation of abdomen, there was a vague, non-tender, ill-defined lump in the epigastric region."

At the start of trouble you may notice a lump or bulge appearing anywhere in the central, upper abdomen between the breastbone and the tummy button. This area is known as the ‘epigastrium’, hence the term ‘Epigastric Hernia’

Note from asker:
Thank you. This medical report is about a stomach cancer patient so this is only mentioned under the medical history
