Spanish term

vaso de faltriquera

Spanish to English Art/Literary Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
Just posed about this term and wanted to edit the entry but the site won't let me for some reason so re-posting. I now have further context for the term:

"Vaso de faltriquera realizado en vidrio translúcido algo blanquecino, decorado con hilos torsionados embebidos en la pasta, describiendo lazadas de desarrollo irregular en color rojo y blanco con azul."

This is from the description for an item in a Spanish glass museum and is being translated for a British audience. I have a photo of the glass—it looks to be about the size and shape of a tumbler, and as described, is decorated with red, white and blue glass threads in a twisted pattern, so it is not purse-shaped, as the Spanish term might indicate.

Faltriquera means pocket, purse, or handbag, so maybe it's small enough to fit in one of these.

pocket tumbler/beaker

This pocket tumbler is a glass which was carried by a traveler in a pouch or pocket. This tumbler was blown and flattened to an oval shape then decorated with a chain trailing pattern. A large number of pocket tumblers were made in Spain from the early-17th though the late-18th century. The origin and date of this glass is unknown because no parallels could be found.
