3 +2 | focal bulging of diaphragma sellae |
|
focal bulging of diaphragma sellae Explanation: It says there is a small nodule (tumor) in the upper part of the pituitary gland, causing local bulging of the membrane that is situated above the gland, but the bulge does not reach as far as the visual nerves which run above the membrane. Solely based on this sentence, there is no evidence that the vision problem is caused by visual nerve compression. But solely based on this sentence, it cannot be ruled out that there is compression or some other problem elsewhere. Why don't you discuss the situation with your doctor? |
