I deem further evidentiary measures to be precluded Explanation: Translation of source text: "Given the content and legally compliant nature of the evidence adduced in the proceedings, I deem further evidentiary measures to be precluded and declare this investigation to be concluded." Prejudicial in this context means that further investigation is precluded because the existing evidence is a sufficient basis for a decision on whether or not to bring a charge/lay an indictment. |

I consider further investigation procedures to be moot Explanation: https://www.proz.com/kudoz/portuguese-to-french/law-general/... https://www.chicagotribune.com/politics/ct-met-illinois-legi... She still could conclude in some instances that further investigation is moot or otherwise inappropriate for investigation, or that the matter may more appropriately be referred elsewhere.” DICIONÁRIO DO MARCILIO prejudicar. 1 – (em processo) to moot; to become moot [Kane, Mary Kay, Civil Procedure,p. 281; Ballentine’s Legal Dictionary and Thesaurus,p. 423; Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary of Law, p. 317]. Nesta acepção, prejudicar e perder o objeto são sinônimos. |

I hold (the conducting of further in/enquiries) to be inherently prejudicial Explanation: Thanks to Mark R. for weaning me off the prejudgmental descriptor (prejudging the main or, in the ENG law of evidence: the 'ultimate issue') and on to prejudicial. Such evidence can be excluded by the judge, rather than precluded ab initio, so from the outset.. inquêrito: an investigation, so the diligências are likelier to be en/inquiries than proceedings or *matters of disclosure of evidence*. Naturalmente: also, routinely; self-evidently; as a matter of course. Celine SM repeated 4 hours - after my original answer - *my* idea of 'inherently'. Example sentence(s):
