I think part of the problem is the way ProZ has phrased this using the word "acceptable." When I choose this option (which perhaps should be reworded as no "convincing" answer,) I'm thinking two things: One, that I can't use it in the translation that I deliver to the client because I can't guarantee that it's correct. Two, I don't want to leave it in the KudoZ glossary for the same reason.

This comment is not directed to you personally. You are one of the few colleagues who gives enough feedback, gives more context and give thanks, others don't do any of these at all, they ask questions and that is it. I am just using this opportunity to give my opinion about this option for closing questions and I hope it is OK with you. All in all, I personally don't like this option of closing questions with 'no acceptable answer' here in Proz. Perhaps I take it personally, I don't know, but IMHO if a colleague gives an answer, that colleague has spent time and effort trying to answer a question with sometimes no context at all and to have a question closed with no acceptable answer does not recognise that time and effort spent. Anyway, I would like to start a forum about this subject but I have to work out how to do it :), wishing you a lovely day, greetings from Merseyside, Aida
