Dans une liste d'erreurs sur une machine de soudage TIG:
"ARC VOLTS (high) - If the arc voltage is too high (above 25 volts) during a weld sequence this fault will occur.
It usually occurs if a hole should be made in the weld, causing the arc to wander over to the far side of the hole.
The most common causes of this is either poor fit up or excessive **I.D.** gas pressure, causing the weld to blow out from the **I.D.** and creating a hole."
Je pensais à "diamètre intérieur", mais j'ai un doute.

I believe the ID and OD here refer to the possibility of using a dual co-axial gas feed hose; so although it almost certainly did originally stand for Inside / Outside diameter, I don't think it's actually referring to the dimension so much as to the placement of the pipes. So it probably needs to be translated as 'inner / outer tube' etc.
Setting Up the Gas Supply System
The M200 power supply has an integral mass flow controller (MFC) to control and monitor the flow of the gas supply system that provides OD shield gas to the weld head. OD shield gas fills the weld chamber to protect the electrode and weld puddle from contaminating elements in the surrounding air.
ID purge gas flows within a tube or at the back of a weld joint to
remove oxygen and prevent oxidation.
Typical OD Shield / ID Purge Gas Supply System
Figure 9 shows a typical gas supply system.

: Pour moi c'est l'ID des tubes à souder, pas de la torche. Fig. 9: soudage de tubes. Si P purge gas dans les tubes est trop forte, la soudure s'ouvre de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur. "poor fit up" : mauvais montage de la fixation des tubes à souder fig. 9.

Discussion
The PDF contains the following definition: Purge gas The gas (OD shield and ID purge) used at the weld joint or within a tube to prevent oxidation, but no definition for OD or ID.
But I am unsure, whether this is the same type of device as for the device in question. You can help to determine this, if you disclose what type of device is described in you document, and what pipes and hoses are connected to the system. do you have also "purge gas tubes/hoses and shield gas tubes/hoses? Or is there no mention of "OD"?
